Don’t worry if the competition aspect may feel intimidating, as hackathons are seen as a place to learn, collaborate and express creativity!

CTF stands for Capture the Flag, and they're are all about hacking a file, app, or website to find a line of text, the "flag." Hey Mac! Science Council is planning on hosting a Mackenzie Science Bowl which would be a 90 minute online test teaching the three branches of science: biology, physics, and chemistry.
The test is taken on our website during your own time, and consists of 60 multiple choice, 10 short answers, and 3 long answer questions. The online test platform will be open between 11 AM to 11 PM and you must take the test during this time frame. Top students will win amazing prizes!

Introducing Mackenzie’s first-ever Holiday Game Jam!
A game jam is a competitive and social event where teams of up to 4 students create video games and then pitch their new game ideas to the rest of the group.
