The Mackenzie Science Club (MSC) hosts weekly STEM events and boasts over 200 members. Alongside being Mackenzie's largest club, MSC is responsible for many of students' favourite STEM and seasonal events throughout the year! Whether you want to showcase your scientific knowledge, race to build the tallest tower, or flaunt your trivia knowledge, no matter the skill level, MSC has got an event for everyone! During the year, members will test their science and problem-solving skills while competing with/against their friends. Top participants are also given the chance to attend the end-of-year Science Olympics hosted by Ontario universities! Mackenzie's Linguistics Club explores a wide variety of topics in the science of human language, a subject you won't come across anywhere else in high school. HOSA Canada is the largest health science international student-run, non-profit organization in North America whose goal is to enhance the quality of the delivery of healthcare by providing students with the resources to successfully pursue careers in the health sciences. Each year, HOSA organizes Canada's largest health science competition at the national and international level where members can acquire knowledge and skills training in the various health science fields. Top qualifiers are given the chance to fly out to the USA for a week to compete globally! Apply for Mackenzie's HOSA chapter to gain knowledge, get a hands-on experience performing procedures carried out by health professionals and for the chance to network with like-minded students!

The Baycrest-Mackenzie Partnership is a club that aims to provide Mackenzie students with meaningful volunteer opportunities while making a genuine impact on the community. This club has directly partnered with Baycrest, an academic health sciences centre, to make the process of becoming a volunteer much easier for Mackenzie students. By joining this club, Mackenzie students will be given priority when applying to volunteer at Baycrest. Volunteering at Baycrest includes many different roles such as assisting during meal time and keeping company with patients!

Rainbow Club is Mackenzie's gender/sexuality alliance, which aims to promote a safe and inclusive school by running a number of initiative, as well as fun events throughout the year! Our weekly meetings involve an array of fun activities, discussions, and events. Since 2017/2018, Mackenzie's Gardening Club has established many structures at school, including transforming the front of the school into multiple flower beds and adding new park benches to make this space more functional and enjoyable. The Gardening Club intends to teach students how to grow and nurture a variety of plants, bushes and small trees. The club also aims to have Mackenzie's gardens serve as a place for relaxation and reconnecting with nature for everyone.

In Mock Trials, you'll learn the basics of law, and prepare to argue both sides of a case based on real evidence. Envirothon is an international competition held yearly to educate students about the environment and conservation of natural resources through hands-on outdoor experiences, academic study, and collaborative competitions. Our school's chapter trains students in the areas of aquatic ecology, forestry, soils, land use, wildlife, and current environmental issues in preparation for the competition. Our goal is to empower students to educate others about the environment, take action in local communities, pursue higher academic study in environmental disciplines, and to work toward careers in the environment, natural resources and conservation.
