Auditions for the showcase are April 10-12 in the music and dance rooms.

Guess what? Our extraordinary multi-arts Festival, Arts in Bloom, is right around the corner! Get ready for a week filled with free lunchtime events starting May 22nd, leading up to the spectacular Arts and Culture Showcase on Wednesday night, May 24th.
Come see full band pieces, dances, songs, and pieces that celebrate Mackenzie's student talent and cultural backgrounds!
Ticket sales kick off on Monday in the school store, so mark your calendars! Individual tickets are only $8, and if you grab four or more, they're just $5 each. Don't miss out—grab your tickets on Monday, Mac!

Any talent or act is allowed to audition as long as it is school appropriate.

With so many exciting things happening, from the start of a fresh new semester to fun holidays such as Valentine's Day or Lunar New year, there are so many reasons to feel happy this month! Thus, February's art theme is "Joy"! No matter how big or how small, create an artwork relating to something that brings you joy and submit to the Visual Arts Council Instagram to be featured.
We will be accepting anything and everything that surrounds the month’s theme, whether it be paintings, doodles, written work or photography! Don’t feel limited by the mediums or the amount of artwork you submit!

Hey MAC! December is finally here, meaning it’s time for another monthly art theme! This month’s theme is… Happy Holidays! 🎁🎊
Until the end of the month, artists can submit their themed artwork to be featured on the @wlmac.visualartscouncil Instagram account! We will be accepting anything and everything that surrounds the month’s theme, whether it be paintings, doodles, written work or photography! Don’t feel limited by the mediums or the amount of artwork you submit! Note that the theme of Holidays also does not need to be restricted to religious holidays in December (ie. your artwork can be inspired by the cozy feeling of winter). :)

Hey MAC!!! Mackenzie's first ever Creative Arts Alliance is here, and we're excited to make bits and masterpieces of memories with our members!
We're a virtual club that endeavours to give interested students the opportunity to pursue visual arts (since many are forced to give their hobbies the backseat due to limited course slots) and re-kindle their passions.
To kick-art our opening, we've prepared in-school contests with prizes, chill learning streams and fun collaborations with other clubs :D
