Get excited for the Art Council's Arts and Culture Showcase on May 7th! There will be food tastings from 6:15-7:00pm and the show will be from 7:00-9:00pm.
Auditions for the showcase are April 10-12 in the music and dance rooms.

Guess what? Our extraordinary multi-arts Festival, Arts in Bloom, is right around the corner! Get ready for a week filled with free lunchtime events starting May 22nd, leading up to the spectacular Arts and Culture Showcase on Wednesday night, May 24th.
Come see full band pieces, dances, songs, and pieces that celebrate Mackenzie's student talent and cultural backgrounds!
Ticket sales kick off on Monday in the school store, so mark your calendars! Individual tickets are only $8, and if you grab four or more, they're just $5 each. Don't miss out—grab your tickets on Monday, Mac!

Attention Mac artists, musicians, dancers, actors and other performers - Now that the Talent Show is over, are you itching for a chance to get (back) on stage?!? The MacARTS department and ARTS COUNCIL have you covered!
AUDITIONS are coming up soon for ARTS IN BLOOM, Mackenzie's annual Spring Celebration of the Arts, which will feature 2 PERFORMANCE NIGHTS: the ARTS AND CULTURE SHOWCASE on May 24th, and JAVA IN THE GARDEN on June 7th. You audition ONCE, and are considered for BOTH shows! It's a Win-Win situation! We welcome a variety of styles and genres of music, dance, and drama - with a special interest in performances that showcase your cultural heritage. Audition on your own, with a partner, or as a group.

SAC is planning on hosting a talent show, and we want YOU to perform!
MAC's got talent Date: April 20th
Auditions Date: April 13th at Lunch
Any talent or act is allowed to audition as long as it is school appropriate.

It's the moment you've all been waiting for: Java After Dark is back in full force!
This year, this display of Mackenzie's best musical talent will take place in-person as part of the Arts in Bloom showcase on May 19th. Vocal pop solos, jazzy instrumental groups, and anything in between are welcome to audition from May 9-11.

Submit a musical performance of anything that reminds you of the holidays - a solo performance, a group performance, an original composition - anything goes - to be featured in "Sounds of the Season", Mackenzie Music's annual holiday showcase. If your video is selected to be featured, you'll receive a RAFFLE TICKET to SAC's SacMas draw!

Submissions are due by the EXTENDED due date of Wednesday, December 8!

Sounds of the Season, Mackenzie's holiday music showcase, is now open to submissions! Whether it's a solo or group performance, or multiple versions of yourself edited together, the Mackenzie Music YouTube and Instagram pages will be featuring YOUR music. Send in finished performances at the music submission form by Friday, December 3 to get featured.
