Cybersecurity Club will be hosting an Introduction to CyberPatriot session this Tuesday May 31st at lunch in room 219! We strongly encourage people - especially grade 9s - with little to no experience to attend, as we will be going over the competition and how you can get involved.

Enter LyonCTF, a capture-the-flag computer security contest for Ontario middle and high school students ages 13 to 18! From February 18th to 21st, you and a team of up to 4 others will take on a wide array of challenges, from cracking website security to finding hidden messages in files and breaking cipher codes. And for the top performers, $250 worth of prizes will be generously sponsored by the Educational Computing Organization of Ontario!
Even if you’re new to cybersecurity, we designed the contest with a low barrier of entry to enable first-time competitors the chance to gain experience and knowledge in an enjoyable, cooperative way.
