Calling all Mackenzie European handball enthusiasts!
The Athletic Council is pleased to announce that we are running European handball intramurals during Monday and Wednesday lunches starting on Monday October 16.
Face off in teams of five with up to five subs, with a minimum of two players who identify as female per team. This is a great way to have fun, make new friends and show off your competitive spirit! Sign up by clicking the link posted below.

Heyyy MAC!
Dodgeball intramurals are starting soon! We will be hosting a mandatory information meeting on Monday, October 17 in the main gym. You MUST attend this meeting if you wish to participate in dodgeball intramurals! Additionally, there will be a smaller, optional meeting this Friday in main gym to go over sign-ups and any outstanding questions.
Sign ups for dodgeball intramurals will CLOSE on Monday, October 17 at 11:59pm so we strongly advise you to put together a team as soon as possible. The sign up forms can be found on our brand new intramural google classroom! The google classroom code is 4eqbd5o! Make sure to check out our @wlmac.athletics Instagram page and the new google classroom for any updates.

The Athletic Council is pleased to announce that the school will host their annual Terry Fox Run/Jog/Walk on Friday, September 23rd. The goal for this year's donations is $2000, so we need your help! Donations can be made online or at the school's main entrance in the morning. As always, the class that raises the most money will receive a prize! This year, we are also selling Terry Fox t-shirts for $25 as another great way to donate to this amazing cause. You can buy your t-shirt through the order forms given to you by your homeroom teacher. Remember: every dollar counts in the fight against cancer. See you all on the 23rd! 🔥

Hey MAC! The Athletic Ceremony is quickly approaching and we’re so excited to announce our 2022-2023 Athlete of the Year nominations! If your name is listed in this document , it is MANDATORY to purchase a ticket to the ceremony before May 26 and take your headshot photo.
Times you can take your headshot are as follows: Thursday after school, Friday during lunch, Friday after school. Headshots will be taken in the gym.
