Chemistry Club, Jonathan Liu
Nov. 15, 2023, 9:02 a.m.

Hey MAC!

The Canadian Chemistry Olympiad is now open for registration. Winners will be invited to a national training camp and have the chance to compete internationally in Saudi Arabia, 2024 as a part of the Canadian IChO Team! (A Mackenzie student won silver internationally just a couple of years ago)

As well, the Canadian Chemistry Contest is held alongside CCO. This is a separate contest, written in the same time period as CCO April 23rd, 2024!

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY:

You must register now independently for the monthly problem sets and associated workshops for the Canadian Chemistry Olympiad ONLY. Once registered you must complete and submit the problem sets by the end of each month. October and November problem sets have already been out and are due November 30th.

Go to CCO Registration (https://cco-occ.utschools.ca/?page_id=158) for more information about the contest and to download the first problem set and reference page.

Please fill out the following form to also register for the monthly problem sets and related workshops (you will be invited to a moodle the following week for submission):

Failure to complete this may disqualify you from writing the exam in April and being invited to related workshops/national training camp! If you have any questions please dm figeater123 or kvzhan (discord). Make sure to attend Chemistry Club meetings every Monday to prepare for the contest!
