Coming back from the March break, there does seem to be a period of change in the air. From mask mandate policy changes, the ever-closer midterm, and the worries of every student’s daily life, MAC is still spinning with life.
In particular, you’ll notice a lot more sports starting to come up. Let’s cheer on our athletes, mac!
Here are some things that have happened this week:
- Teacher Superlatives have been opened! Nominate your favourite teachers for whatever you think they’re best at. To nominate teachers, go to the nomination form.
- The Gardening Club held a Spring Plant sale during lunches this week. Hopefully, you were able to get (and even purchase) some of their plants!
- Varsity Girls Basketball held their playoffs this Monday. Congratulations to all who participated!
- The Badminton team held tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday. Congratulations to everyone who participated, and an even bigger applause for those who made the team!
- On Thursday, the Varsity boys hockey team played against York Mills.
- On Friday, The Varsity boys basketball team faced off against Westview Centennial Secondary School.
Here are some things to look forward to next week:
