Hey Mac! Welcome to the GlamourGals Mackenzie Chapter!

GlamourGals is a national nonprofit organization that connects high school students with senior homes in their communities, and inspires conversation and companionship.

Pre-Covid, students would come to senior homes once a month to give residents free beauty makeovers (do their makeup and paint their nails), and just talk to them. Of course this is not possible at the moment due to the rising number of Covid cases, so instead, students now do virtual activities with residents of senior homes. These include things like doing crafts together virtually, playing virtual games, doing trivia, having a monthly book club, just talking over Zoom, and many other things based on what the seniors want. The meetings with the senior home would be once a month.

Students will get volunteer hours from GlamourGals for anything they do for the club.
